Easytone - Trend - Product Description
The Trend is the EasyTone model that has the most sellers including Fitness Footwear, Reebok, John Lewis, Debenhams, and Millet Sports. It is available in three colors and has a trendy urban look as well as a 'snug fit feel'. It's a great buy and of the EasyTone range, it's the one one that we would recommend.
EasyTone Trainers - How Do they Work?
The EasyTone trainer was developed specifically to increase toning of the gluteus maximus or as it is more commonly known, the 'butt'. To understand the way it works you must first understand what happens when you are wearing 'regular' trainers.
Normally, when you walk, your muscles whilst active, are nevertheless pulling in the same direction that they usually do, as with a flat trainer, your muscles do not have to tense to anticipate changes in the terrain that you are traversing.
A suitable analogy would perhaps be trekking through the jungle or up a rocky mountain. Whilst you may be wearing flat trainers, shoes or boots, if you were traversing in either of these conditions, you would find that your whole body comes into contact with unexpected angles and firmness of the ground
The result of the unsteady environment is that your body moves in different ways to what it is usually accustomed (if you are not used to the environment). And, when your body moves, it is caused by muscle flexing, the repetition of which leads to muscle definition.
The adaptation of your body to an unnatural mode of movement is the basic principle. (Having said that, it is a culturally specific, not a human 'unnaturalness' as many people throughout the world develop great butts and quads without the use of Easytone trainers, their daily chores give them enough of a workout.) But unless you can afford to spend your time traversing rainforests like, then ilk the rest of us, you could probably do with a more 'metropolitan solution'.
EasyTones achieve the effect of instability by the unevenness of the trainers' sole. The sole is created via air filled 'bubbles' which have been used in trainers for several years now. The unevenness of the sole is what causes your lower body muscles to contract more than usual as your body maintains it's balance as you walk.
In short, that is how they work, although we are well aware that there are no 'magic bullets' when it comes to looking good, but bearing in mind how much some 'solutions' cost, these are worth a go, and even if you do not get the magic butt within a few weeks, Reebok have made sure that at the very least you've got a stylish trainer.
